Designs for Guile
My logo and Web site design proposal for the GNU Guile project, an implementation of the Scheme programming language and official extension language for the GNU operating system.
I keep working on sub-projects of the GNU Project trying to make them more accessible to potential users (specially for non-experts, which is the audience that interests me the most). I'm currently working on Guile, which I left pending on my to do list while I was working on GuixSD some months ago.
I sent a logo and website design proposal to the project developers. The comments have been positive so far. I expect to implement the changes in one or two weeks if I get a green light.
The logo

Figure 1. The proposed logo is the name of the project: Guile. The G letter is circular and it is surrounded by two arcs, one on the left and one on the right. These arcs represent parenthesis, which are used in Scheme to demarcate symbolic expressions.
