Golea is a build-and-play game. This section shows you an example of how the pieces of the game could look like, including the board, five teams, three dice, the ball, a coin and a whistle.
Board
The game is played on a checkered board of 50×34 cm that represents the football field. Each square is 2×2 cm. The board can be framed as illustrated above.
Golea's printables include a field with this dimensions.
Players
Each team in Golea has five players. A player is a block of wood or plastic with a square base of 2×2 cm and 4 cm height. It has a hole at the center of its base which is used to control the ball while moving the player around the field.
Golea's printables include uniforms for the five teams of its league. The uniforms can be printed as stickers and then wrapped around the player blocks.
Dice
Three different kinds of dice are used in the game: two regular six-sided dice and a twelve-sided dice. The red one is called the Shoot Dice, the blue one is the Challenge Dice, and the black one is the Movement Dice. For the red and blue ones, you can get blank dice and print the dice stickers included in Golea's printables. The black dice should be easy to get already made.
Ball, coin and whistle
Any ball, coin and whistle will do. Although it would be best if the ball is a polyhedron and not a sphere (so that it doesn't roll that easily).
